Didn’t I also mention about Flea Markets scattered in major parks of Dubai?
Well, after years of living in here, I somehow mastered the attitude of  red tags and course majority of Salesmen were easy, no need to bribe, they’ll tell you the real score.
Some red tags aren’t really on sale, bet yah! They  put the magic red tags because it always , always , always attract people!
Some items are way cheaper outside the country, try comparing it from UK and USA (these countries are with tax already ha, mind you partida). How much is way cheaper ba? Like 50-200 aed cheaper!
Shopping tip: the more Grandeur the Mall, the more it charges on items. It’s like buying chips in Karama – Deira area compared to buying chips in Dubai Marina, gets?
Some items are cheaper because, for example, you’re buying an Italian brand in the Italian shop but then the item is made in Romania, Turkey or China.
Lastly, some are forever sale like perfumes in Karama, you know why? As long as they see the Burj, they feel inspired to pass it on rent (#rentashighasBurj) and this rent hike happens every year just so you know. So? Need sales noh?
But what about this 90% sale? To look it more bongga, they’re saying this is the Big deal. One is, it’s an annual event. Next 90% you see is on National Day (Dec.) and if you see random 90% that’s when the shop is for closure. Got it? Big deal?
So, with high rent fees, hike in goods, why would you still participate on this sale? Well, try to check the prices, 90% is not really bad at all! Its almost next to FREE right? And just a note, next year dear there’s already the so-called tax! so expect higher prices. You can also start buying early gifts for Christmas. And of course, for Balikbayan box! Sending Love. Yep!
