From movies to reality, seems like UAE is not just home of Guinness World Records but also the place where flying cars will be tested.
The Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and US-based Uber Technologies will start work for take-off and landing base of driverless flying cars.
In a statement sent to Arabian Business, the RTA partnering with Uber is set to launch a demonstration transportation network of vertical take-off and landing vehicles (VTOLs) by 2020. An Uber official said it has teamed up with Dubai officials to test flying cars within three years.
